Dental care is a great investment, and will typically pay for itself many times over in terms of your oral health, overall health, and quality of life. But that doesn’t mean it’s always easy to fit in the budget. To help make it easier to fit dental care in your budget, we offer many options to help you fit dental care in with the other priority items in your budget.

Up-Front Estimates

Knowing costs ahead of time can help you plan your budget accordingly. That’s why we give comprehensive estimates once we’ve evaluated your health and determined what treatments are necessary or recommended. Every treatment option we discuss will have an attached estimate so you can factor cost in as one consideration in making your decisions.

It’s important to remember that these are estimates, based on our long experience in dentistry. They are usually accurate, but we can’t guarantee them.

Harriman Family Dental is committed to working with you and your insurance company. We want to help you understand your dental insurance benefits so that you can get a good idea about what they will and won’t cover. We will also collect your medical insurance information to have on file so that, if a procedure is billable to medical insurance, we can submit the claim for you.

This is an important part of the decision-making process, but it’s important to understand that estimates of your insurance company coverage are less reliable than cost estimates–insurance companies can be very fickle about what they will and won’t cover. We will help you file insurance claims and try to maximize your coverage, but if your insurance doesn’t cover all the costs, you are responsible for the balance.

If you are unable to cover the balance of your treatment costs, financing can help you fit it in your budget. We utilize CareCredit and Lending Club financing so you can find a good option for paying your dental costs.

CareCredit LogoCareCredit is a medical credit card that is intended solely for health and wellness expenses, such as dentistry.  Terms and conditions depend on your credit and the amount borrowed, but they’re usually better terms than most regular credit cards, including several different financing plans that can make your dental care more affordable.

There are no interest payment plans that allow you to borrow with no interest, if the balance is paid off in full during the plan period. Or you can arrange for an extended plan that allows for small monthly payments over the term of the plan. You can use their online payment calculator to estimate your monthly payments.

Lending Club LogoLending Club may have better terms for some people. Lending Club works by linking people who need financing with willing investors. The usual terms are low, fixed-rate loans that can make your dental care more affordable.
